Language is a method of human communication. It is made up of socially shared rules. These rules include: what words mean, how to make new words, how to put words together.
PRAGMATIC language is the use of the language in a socially acceptable manner. |
Speech is the ability to verbally communicate. Articulation is the focus of the sounds in words. For example, a child must learn how to produce the M sound before they can say mama.
